I called Steel-T on Aug 27, to get a quote on a new air-conditioner system for my house. ""Steve"" there made an appointment for Aug 30.\r
\r
Steve was 1/2 hour late for the appointment. He didn't even spend 10 minutes looking at my house, then said he would have to research the right coil to use for the ductwork I have.\r
\r
I expected, based on several other HVAC companies I contacted, to get a quote immediately, or at least within 2 days.\r
\r
Instead, I was totally blown off by Steel-T. I called several times to follow-up over the span of two weeks, with no return call from Steve.\r
\r
Finally, on September 12 (yes, almost three weeks from when I first called them!) Steve finally calls me up, and says, ""Hey, I'm sorry, we're not going to be able to do the AC on your house. Sorry to waste your time.""\r
\r
Steve provided no explanation, and I hung up on him.\r
\r
DO NOT CALL STEEL-T!! They are extremely unprofessional, don't care about wasting your time, and treat their customers very very poorly. I could have had an AC system installed already except I was waiting on the quote from Steel-T.\r
\r
Steel-T is a typical contractor company, they do what they want when they want it and don't care how that impacts you, and they certainly don't care about keeping their promises, even simple promises like ""I will get you a quote in a couple days.""\r
\r
Cons: Blew me off.
