I stumbled upon Urban Weeds when I went on the art walk. It is an awesome new addition to the neighborhood. Finally, a gardening center (actually it's much more than that) that doesn't cater to my grandma's garden. As a modern minimalist city dweller, I love the simple, bold planters I bought and was amazed to find a few plants like horsetail that I didn't know we could even get in Seattle. Great gifts for housewarmings and holidays, too. I even bought a colorful vase for my husband that he could throw at me --it doesn't look it, but it's made of rubber. My only complaint is that we want more, more, more product from Urban Weeds.
Pros: unique, great owners, community minded, awesome merch
Cons: wish they were around sooner
