I've lived at Shore Acres for over a year now and was very happy to renew my lease. The complex is only about a mile north of the Broad Ripple Village area which is home to many fun clubs and restaurants. You can walk there on the Monon Trail, a well-maintained paved pathway that is accessible via a locked gate on the west side of the complex. The trail is one of the best things about living at Shore Acres and I frequently go running and cycling there during the summer. It is also a safe route to walk or bike to the grocery store, post office, and library which has saved me lots of money on gas while also giving me good exercise.
