I have lived in the Columbus area my entire life and have eaten out daily multiple times everyday of my life! Therefore, I have a lot of experience with different restaurants around the area, especially those restaurants that are in the genre of restaurants that I love! Anyways, I moved into an apartment complex next door to Gordys in October and first visited it for an apartment complex party for a OSU Football game. It was great going there for the party as we had a private reserved room, but the food was catered by Gordys and loved everything there! They had everything from Buffalo Wings to Pizza, Nachos and other finger foods here and there (Onion Rings, French Fries, Mozzerella Sticks, etc.). Anyways, everything there was some of the best food I had ever had in my life from a restaurant, especially the Pizza and the Wings. I knew this was a place I would love to return to as soon as I could. I was not a drinker @ the time, but I then realized that they had great drink specials when I started coming back! I also realized they had great food specials that were exclusive to different days of the week, but each item was on the same day each week (a set schedule for the specials w/the type of food as well as daily drink specials). I found everyone of the specials were great and the portions were enormous for the price! The average normal price for a meal was 8 dollars (3/4 lb. Specialty burger w/generous portion of fries and pickle for example is a meal). For the specials, they have normally half price deals such as Half price Nachos which are massive (bigger than all the Mexican restaurants I have been to) for $3.50 which is on both Wednesday and Thursday. $.25 cent potato skins on Mondays as well as .25 cent wings on Tuesday. Mozzerella Sticks are 3 dollars on Friday and Half Price Burgers on Saturday. Pizza is half price on Sundays and every weekday they have drink specials and $1.50 domestic bottles from Noon-8PM for happy hour! Great service too!
Pros: Best Food, Specials, Prices, Portions
