Don't you hate it when you need to look ultra hot for an event, but don't know how to style your own hair the way your hairdresser does that gives you that "salon", or in some cases for a hot date, "Victoria Secret Page 5" look? So you have to go to your hairdresser and pay EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for a blowdry just for that non-frizzy blown out look? Well, I hear you sista. That's why I attended Frankee's Hairstyling 101 class. I wanted to learn the trade so I can save EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS everytime I wanted to look like Giselle. I expected a light class in drying techniques to satisfy my ignorance in hair coiffing. Instead, Frankee educated me on the function and purpose of various products that can achieve that "salon" look. In addition, she introduced me to new equipment (like a flat iron and a curling stick), aside from the blowdryer, that can lend immediate results. For women like me who are too busy to spend hours staring at themselves in the mirror with a brush and a hairdryer (I'm cute but not cute enough to stare at myself for hours), this class is golden for professional women on the go. Her class was very impressive. She started with a syllabus of what each product can do and will do for your hair and how you could incorporate it in your regular regimen. I learned that sulfates are the main ingredient in most shampoos and are bad for your hair, so she carries products that are sulfate-free. Then we practiced using her equipment to achieve three very versatile looks: classic, glamour, and street. To reward us for being a good students in attending Hairstyling 101, we had wine and some nibbles at Frankee's bar, perched at the front of her salon. She had a glass of wine with us too! She's so cool...
I highly recommend Hairstyling 101 at Frankee Uno. At the very least, you will leave with a lot more education about styling your hair coupled with a great experience.
