I am from Vancouver Canada and was in the area for business. Checked out this place and was totally disappointed. Looks like the very previous review has been written by someone known to the owners. The Samosas that have been praised were really really bad. It is all about filling. That kind of filling is used for Aaloo Tikki and never for samosas. I bet if you ordered Aaloo parantha, you would get the same filling.
Besides a couple of their entrees, I also picked up their home made namkeens. Boy they smelled. It seems like they used oil that was burnt. Two packs @4.99/lb, what a waste. I know North Indian food (from Canada) and this place wouldn't be in the top 100 out there, let alone top 10.
Also worth mentioning is that when i was there, a couple walked in and were standing behind me waiting for their turn. The person at the counter didnt even acknowledge their presence from the moment they walked in. She took my order and simply walked inside the kitchen. They guys felt bad and just walked out. So much so for courtsey. I could also see used utensils that were served to someone in there were still lying on the table.
One of the reviews rightly says, that you have to know them to be served well. Food is nothing great there. Ignorance is bliss so if you dont know about North Indian a.k.a Panjabi food, take your chance. If you know your food, seek another restaurant serving Indian cuisine. The food here is definitely not worth the price.
Pros: Freshly made (not sure about the ingredients)
Cons: Expensive, Food below average
