I brought my 5 year old, unspayed dog, Nikki, to Critter Fixer for her annual shots, which she received from the high school students that Dr. Rogers employs there. I had noticed that her teets had been secreting a brown, milky fluid over the past couple of months, and knowing that there must be something wrong, I mentioned it to them. They informed Dr. Rogers, who told us to watch out for puppies. Within the next year, Nikki started having grand mal seizures every week or so, and smaller seizures throughout the day. She no longer showed that she recognized my family and I, so we took her to Louetta Animal Hospital, right down the street (due to my next story). There, we were informed that Nikki had massive brain tumors, and that the cancer had spread from her mammary glands.
