I have been a pet owner all my life. I went to Banfield when I was new to Tallahassee. It is a very slick operation. If I had not been a very experienced dog owner, I would have been stuck with a bill of over three hundred dollars which included vaccinations ( such as giardia which is NOT recommended as standard by AVA.) shampoos and unwanted tests. They pressured me to purchase pet health insurance. The vet that examined my dog was unpleasant at best and down right rude. She had a patronizing attitude to me and was demeaning to her staff right in front of me. There are plenty of private vets in town. Steer clear of this corporate money pit.
