I love indian food, both nothern and southern. Himalayan food is very much related to northern indian food or is it that northern indian food is very much related to himalayan food??? Either way, it is delicious.\r

So I've been around this town long enough that I still miss Nancy's but I am always willing to try new Indian food. So I went to Sherpa's for lunch with a friend and it is still the same quirky layout of an old house. I ordered the Aloo Gobi, I think this is a simple standard dish, very popular. I also ordered Garlic Naan and some Chai. I do not remember what my lunch date ordered, sorry. The food was okay and I do not remember anything negative about the service so in all it was okay. Indian food is about the spices and potato and cauliflower without spices is bland.\r

The problem I have is that Himalays (best chai on the planet) down the street and Tandori Grill in south Boulder both have better food. So unless you are looking to eat Indian/Himalayan food outside or in a quirky house there are better choices in this town.
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: It may be just me but I do not like Indian food on an outdoor patio. Not good for large parties.
