My problems with Planet Glass started in 1/26/07. It is now 8/9/07 and they have not been resolved. Planet Glass was contacted by my insurance company to replace my cracked windshield. They did not show up when they said they would, would not return my calls and hung up on my insurance company, so my insurance contacted a different glass company. Almost two days later and with no notice, Planet Glass showed up and replaced the windshield. Within two days, the molding that goes up the side of my windshield began to peel off from the top. Several phone calls later and several days after they were supposed to arrive, Planet Glass came to my workplace to fix the molding. They had not instructed me to leave my car unlocked, but instead of waiting for me to come unlock it, they attempted to glue down the molding anyway and left. The molding started peeling off again the next day. I called them no less than 25 times to come back and fix the problem. They would say they were going to come and then never show up. Between the no shows and the rainy spring, this went on for about a month and a half to two months. They never came. I finally stopped calling and just drove around with the top of the molding sticking up three inches into the air. Two nights ago, there was a rain storm and when I got into my car the next morning I found that the windshield had leaked from the top and my passenger seat was soaked. It is now apparent that the entire windshield was replaced improperly. I have called twice and left a message and I'm still waiting to hear back. I'm certainly not holding my breath. If worse comes to worse, I guess I'll have to have the windshield repaired elsewhere and go to small claims court to recoup my out of pocket losses. Hopefully it won't come to that. Please do not use this company.
