The menu is definitely ""gourmet"" with things like boar, elk, buffalo, and lots of specialty ingredients, but we found the actual food to be lacking in much flavor. For instance, my husband had the grilled organic Korean buffalo ""tacos"" with housemade kimchee, but the buffalo meat had virtually no seasoning (not very Korean!) and was tough, and the kimchee was about the worst that we've ever had. Basically, we felt that the above-average prices on the menu should have dictated much better-tasting food. Gateway Cafe was a disappointment!
Pros: interesting menu
Cons: expensive, not particularly good-tasting food
