Having eaten at the 5th Avenue location three times, I rate it as one of the best dinner options for vegetarians in Brownstone Brooklyn. There aren't a lot of veg entrees, but including the soups and salads, there is always something tasty for non-flesh-eating diners. The Mediterranean salad is a must, as is the knafe (sp?) for dessert. The wine list is broad for this level of (in)formality, and the mark-up is not outrageous. Service is casual, quirky, but competent. Expose yourself to some unusual flavors.
Pros: Wonderful salads, good-value wine list
Cons: Could expand the vegetarian--it's Middle Eastern, after all
