I visited Boston for the first time last weekend and a friend recommend Giacomo's in the North End. It is very small but rather lively. We went late, around 9:30 on a Friday night so we didn't have to wait. The service was great but the food...We ordered the calamari, which was fantastic. I had the lobster ravioli and I must say it is in the top 3 best dinners that I have ever had! Dinner for 2 with appetizers and wine was $45 so it was very reasonably priced, although I would have gladly paid $200 for this meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of great Italian.
