I really like Radial. It's a great location with great atmosphere. There is limited indoor seating but they have a cute patio. The art that decorates the entrance and walls of the dining area is great! The staff is laid-back but sharp, and I have never had anything to complain about. The first time I tried radial, I went with a largish group for lunch. I wouldn't recommend that. The dining area is too small for a crowd. The kitchen is open, so you get to see the cooks working but you also get to listen to the usual kitchen noises, which makes it hard to try to hear the person at the other end of the table. On to the food: The menu isn't huge, but they know what they do well. I had the famous red flannel hash. Boy, was it good! Also greasy. It came with a side of toast and two eggs any style. I thought the service was decent, all things considered. The next morning I was still craving breakfast so I talked my other into heading back to Radial. It was a quiet weekday morning, and the character of the place was a lot more subdued. We found a quiet booth and had a nice private conversation over delicious eggs and bacon. I had to fend off more refills so we could get to work. In summation: Heavy, carb-laden meals are pretty much what's in store here, but if you like breakfast and if you like cool, artistic and friendly atmosphere it's definitley worth checking out.
Pros: Atmosphere, food, friendly service
Cons: not good for groups
