Something took a chunck out of my rear tire on my ride home from work on Friday. Since I had to get a new tire and tube, I figured I'd also bring my bike into the shop and see if they could figure out the chain slippage/maybe switching gears on its own problem. I had once brought it back to the place I bought it, and they couldn't fix it; I also left it with someone I used to work with who said they could fix it - nope. I figured I maybe just had an expensive lemon and rode it. Swearing at it on occasion.\r

It is fixed. Only ~$50 bucks in parts and labor (not including the tire/tube, of course), and she rides like a dream!!! I can't tell you you thrilled I am.\r
