In Denver, we have many great choices of Steak Houses. It has been some time since my last visit to this establishment. I usually dine at Brooks, The Capital Grill or Steakhouse 10. In looking for a change of pace, we elected to eat at Sullivan?s. We were seated promptly, but it took some time for our waiter to come to our table. I noticed several patrons where in shorts and t-shirts. I know that Denver is casual, but give me a break! The first two bottles of wine that I ordered were not in stock. Once we found a wine that they actually had, I had to poor the entire bottle myself throughout the meal. I was offered no wine service whatsoever. After our crab appetizer, we had to ask for hot towels to clean our hands. This service is standard at most steak houses, is it not? Once our salads came, I was not offered any fresh ground pepper. To make matters worse, my steak came to the table medium well, when I had ordered medium rare. The steak was also VERY salty, but of good quality.
