I grew up in St. Louis were the benchmark for frozen custard has been held by Ted Drews for over 75 years. I was shocked to find the nearest frozen custard company to L.A. was in Irvine. While the Irvine custard was better than no custard at all, I have been absolutely depressed to be without my favorite dessert. That was until I found Chuck Nix and his Silky Smooth Ultra Premium Ice Cream at the Beverly Center.
Pros: Great taste, selection, and price.
