I visited Gilmore's for the second time yesterday for the ""Foie Gras Extravaganza!"" dinner. The dinner left much to be desired. All but one course had either not enough or an overpowering amount of foie gras on the plate. The only course which had a good balance was the lobster course and there, the lobster was slightly overcooked for me and very overcooked for my dinner date. The dinner felt a bit rushed, even though there was only one seating. The wait staff inquired repeatedly whether the offerings were delicious; it is a bit difficult to state that no, its not very good when seated 3 feet away from other patrons. Lastly, the desert came out far too soon even though the wait staff was able to see that we were not ready and were not done with our coffee. The restaurant, although has so much potential leaves much to be desired.
