4 of us visited the Mangrove Grill recently, and did not have a good experience. First of all we had to wait for a hostess for several minutes although there were plenty of open tables. We got the tuna appertizer and there were only 4 small pieces and some lettuce, for $10 I expected more. Two in our party ordered steak and two ordered fish. One of the fish dishes was definately spoiled, with a very stong odor and taste. When we brought it to the servers attention she said it was the seasoning. The tenderloin was not cooked properly and for close to $5 per ounce it should have been near perfect. The only highlight was the warm bread and pesto. Dinner for 4 with 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine, two appetizers and 0 desserts was $200.00. This restaurant is not recommended.
Pros: bread, pesto, marina
Cons: expensive entrees, noise, spoiled food, small portions
