My boyfriend and I had our first date here - it is my favorite sushi restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants in general. We normally order veggie tempura as an appetizer (always good, their tempura is NEVER soggy) and some sort of soup. I normally get clear soup, which is great here. We've been going down the list of their hand rolls trying new things - their special rolls are HUGE but they always taste good. So far the best has been the geisha roll, its very pleasing to the eye, and has a sweetish taste. The atmosphere is very homey, and the wait staff knows us by sight now (also, you always see people sitting at the sushi bar chatting with the chefs). One of the best things about the place is that its open late - till around 11 or so. Sometimes Little Tokyo is quiet and not crowded, and other times its packed and noisy... you can never tell, and it attracts a huge variety of age ranges and groups. Little Tokyo is definitely ""our place"" now, and it would be the first place I recommend to someone who is new to sushi or sushi restaurants in New Orleans.
Pros: great food, parking, service, atmosphere, and everything else
Cons: sometimes it gets a little noisy, and the building is smallish
