After being fed up with trying to find a parking space we decided to give Restaurant 4580 in North Boulder a try. As it turns out, they have just hired a new chef and believe me, he didn't disappoint. The flavors were fantastic!! I had the halibut served in a stew of clams, and my husband the duck confit. Both were superb, and didn't leave us with that weighed down by too much butter and cream sauce feel. The wine prices were more than fair -we shared a bottle of California Pinot Noir - and the service was excellent and friendly. The ambience was ellegant but not the least bit stuffy. If your looking for an excellent meal at a great price, want to avoid the nonsense of fighting for a parking space downtown, yet still want to feel your in someplace special I highly recommend Restaurant 4580...A hidden gem in North Boulder.
