The venue is very beautiful and the owner very curteous, but on your wedding day they will give you a great deal of stress. They have a garden with Gazeebo for a ceremony and have a small room available incase it rains and must be moved inside. It rained before, during, and after our ceremony, but the hall did not have the small room setup incase of such an occurance and it backed everything up by 20 minutes after we were ready to begin. Also, they did not put out enough chairs in the garden to sit our guests when we specifically gave them the # and many of our guests were standing before we moved everything inside. Our Maitre D (the owner!) was nowhere to be found as the ceremony began and the groom (ME!) had to direct the procession so that everyone knew where to lineup and proceed. I even had to get a friend of mine to close and open the door before the bride lined up. The Maitre D was not on top of his staff to make sure things were being done in a timely manner, and many things were not. For the reception, they promised us two bars, but we only got one, and it created long lines and inpatient guests. DO NOT use their baker to make your cake; It looked like an amateur baked it, the icing was not smooth, more like someone spread it. We also requested a 4-tier spiral (stair-like) cake and we got a a 3-tier stacked cake. They did not have enough servers during the cocktail hour and our guests informed us later that they had to go ask for food to make sure they got it. We were not brought any food to our private room during our cocktail hour; my best man had to go get it for us. The servers were going to throw out the remaining cake, including THE TOP LAYER, but my sister-in-law acted just in time to save it. This place is poorly run. Do not make the mistake of falling in love with the venue's appearance. The service is always the most important consideration.
Pros: Very nice looking venue, beautiful garden w/ gazeebo
Cons: VERY poor service, average food, disorganized staff
