It seems as if you could swing a dead cat and find 10 sandwich shops in downtown Reno(nighttime spots..not so much) that are just ok. Catering to the working man, these delis/cafes serve the same old boring sliced meat condiment-laddened sandwiches with no distinction between them. However, when I tried Rose's GRILLED, yes GRILLED sandwiches, I was absolutely floored! All these beautiful culinary creations are little slices of heaven, although I suspect the owner has sold her soul to the devil, since they are sinfully delicious!! However, as good as these masterpeices are, the service is right up there. I'm always greeted with a hearty ""Hello!"" and big toothy grins. The ladies are good at what they do even though i've seen them completely buried under 100+ customers. All in all, Rose's is a perfect lunchtime treat!
