CMD recycle trucks are either flawed, defective, or in need of repair; BUT they won't do anything about it. The issue is the CMD Recycle truck leaves piles of chards of glass in their wake. This has been going on ever since the large (throw everything in together) Bins have been in place, about 2 years now. I finally got tired of picking up after them, and complained, but they just provide lip service. The township has issued citations at my request when they have been caught in the act, but the drivers state it is cheaper to pay the fine than to fix the truck. Not only do they leave behind unsafe piles of shards of glass, they also do not pick up bottles and cans that miss the truck leaving our neighborhoods an unsightly littered mess. The only way to resolve this issue is to not hire them, or fire them, and lobby your neighbors to do the same.
