Nothing wrong with Dr. Lehrer. He was professional, funny, and helpful. But from there it stops. I've done business with these folks before but I always end up coming away feeling it didn't matter whether I patronized their business or not. The ambience of the store is wonderful -- funky and fun and alive so it's kind of surprising that when the staff waits on you, they're kind of distant and cold and humorless (and I've found this out four years running). I've made reference to this in another eyeglass review, here the staff sits you down in a chair and brings the frames to you -- like I'm not capable of picking out a frame that will remotely look good on my face. Don't get me wrong, they don't do a bunch of things wrong -- it's just that there are a lot of places out there better and you don't go away feeling bbbrrrrrrrrr!! I wouldn't tell you not to go there -- just don't expect anything special.
Pros: You can trust your eye exam, they know their insurance filing, good ambience.
Cons: Slow, cold ""designer attitude"" staff
