The four physicians at Tatum Ridge Internal Medicine are caring and wonderful Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians. As their Office Manager, I can say that their billing practices are legal, honest and ethical. The grievance that EG filed with the Board was immediately dismissed and closed since the grieveance related to a Sonora Quest invoice that HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH TATUM RIDGE INTERNAL MEDICINE OR ANY OF THE FOUR PHYSICIANS. I attempted to assist EG with her Sonora Quest billing and as it turns out the balance due for her labwork was the portion that her insurance company applied to her deductible. There was no ""double billing"" on the part of Sonora Quest or Tatum Ridge in EG's case. What a shame that the first thing that some people think about physicians is that they are trying to ""rip them off"". What a gross misconception! I guess that goes hand in hand with the generalization that doctors all drive Mercedes! Again, what a shame!
