My wedding was in August of 2006 and I was just a bridesmaid in July at a friend's Wedding that was photographed by Eddie and his assistant. I referred her to Eddie and she got a ""Friend of the Bride discount"" We had a great time taking pictures at my wedding and that was one of the big reasons I told my friend she HAD to hire Eddie to shoot hers. I've been in 8 weddings and taking pictures was ""work"" at most of them. The most important thing for us was that taking the pictures would be FUN! and it was. but we also loved our pictures because there was such a variety. AND THEY WERE SO PERFECT! We got a statuesque portrait of me at the altar with my train arranged perfectly (my mom's favorite picture) Eddie actually brought one of his big studio ""Window Lights"" to take that picture. It made it look like a Magazine Cover with soft window light coming in from the side. Eddie's picture of me at the altar actually looked BETTER than many of the full page magazine shots I've seen. Eddie also retouched the picture to make some of the details sharper and my skin softer. No way I'm a model but I looked like one in that picture. But really the best pictures of the day were taken in a garden after the wedding. Eddie posed us for some pictures but he captured real natural expressions while we were just being ourselves. One thing that we really enjoyed was what he calls ""The Dress Rehearsal"" also know as an engagement portrait. We started at our church and took a few engagement shots there and we liked one so much we did the same shot on the day of the wedding. He used a ""Fisheye"" lens which somehow didn't distort us but we could see the entire church including the steeple right behind us. Then we went to Lake Harriet Garden for more pictures. The nice thing about that was on the day of the wedding It was like we ""Picked up where we left off"" I've been in 9 Weddings and Eddie is the best photographer I've seen for Art, Professionalism, and Personality.
Pros: He helped us relax and have fun.
