We just stumbled upon this place, while looking for a different Italian place that is not there any more on our way to the theater. It was Friday night, pre-theater and we obviously did not have reservations and it was 7 of us, well let us just say, I was not very optimistic about finding a good place under the circumstances. Boy was I wrong. We saw some people leaving and we asked them how was the food, they said it was amazing, but it looked pretty crowded, we figured, we'd give it a try. I walked up to the hostess and asked, she was so sweet, she said she would try working something out if we waited few minutes at the bar. Literally a few minutes later she came back and graciously asked us if we would't mind sitting in the secret garden. And so we went down the steps to the garden. It's a very pretty room with fresco tiles that looks like a courtyard, more than a garden, but we sat at a table covered with the Italian fresco tiles and ordered. Our waiter was very nice and helped us with the menu. My fettucine pasta was truly amazing. My kids had pizza that they are still talking about. My husband loved his rib-eye steak. My friends had the ragotoni Siciliana with eggplant and tomato sauce (I tasted a little,) which we have to come back for.... Just great and to think we just walked in and got lucky.
