I heard the lady that brought the dog to the Shelter first lied and told the staff that the dog was part of the show. The group's manager performing that night was overheard saying that "lady" was a crazed fan who had been following the band and showing up to shows and offering them illegal medications (wink wink nudge nudge). They had brought the dog up on stage the night before because they thought it was funny.
Is it wrong to bring a dog into a music venue with extremely loud music, intoxicated people, and possible broken glass on the floor? Talk about animal cruelty!
Does everyone feel comfortable around large dogs they do not know? Obviously not by the police reactions to her dog.
Was St. Andrew's denying someone their right to basic human needs? No, this was an entertainment event not a soup kitchen. Was she within her right to come in? Sure, but why subject a dog to that type of environment?
BTW said "lady" was heard yelling she wanted the contact info for her lawyer who she stated was Allen Ginsberg (who died in 1997).
