I used them for a coop apartment renovation in Manhattan. Complete renovation of kitchen and bathroom, and all new flooring. Although the contractor seemed honest and attentive at the beginning, the renovation was supposed to take 6-8 weeks. We changed the locks after 12 weeks because he never came back to finish and make the necessary corrections. In addition, the electrician he hired was illiterate and incompetent. Everything he did was wrong, including breaking a wall light I had purchased for him to install and installing the wrong type of electric boxes. Nayci ordered the wrong refrigerator (too big) and then stuffed it into the space so that the cabinets are now hard to open. They didn't do a good paint job at all, and didn't even purchase one of the colors I requested, so that the bathroom door and trim was painted the wrong color, 3 times. They broke 2 of my lamps, did not cover up my furniture carefully, and left a mess. I wouldn't recommend them to my worse enemy. I finally asked me super to finish the job and he had an electrician redo the lighting and repair Nayci's mistakes. I still have to get someone to finish the trim on the kitchen cabinets, and I stil have to get the closet painted, the bathroom trim repainted, and all the sloppy areas repainted. It will cost me far more than the piddling sum I still owe Nayci. Since they demand so much money up front, and at each stage of the renovation, by the time you are totally fed up with them, they can walk away without financial penalty. I'm sure they build that factor in to their contract and fees. What a nightmare!
