After researching tub refinishing, I thought it would be a good choice to save some money. It was less expensive than a bath-refit, and less expensive than replacing my old tub & tile walls. Phil convinced me that the materials & his skill would create a new tub / tile surface that I would be happy with.
Phil arrived on time & did the job in the amount of time specified. The finish was wet when he left, so I didn't inspect it very closely. I paid for the service when he finished the job. After a few weeks, I noticed some spots where I could see the old color of the tub / tiles - in one spot the new surface actually bubbled, leaving a "scar" on the new surface. I called Phil several times about these problems. He ensured me that his work was backed for 5-yrs before I hired him. He has now missed two confirmed appointments to come to my home. He does not return my phone calls & has not responded to any of the messages I have left for him. I don't believe that he has any intention of coming to my house to fix his work.
Buyers beware. If you hire this guy, I'd suggest that you hold back payment until 2-3 weeks after he completes the work. I've not received the same level of service AFTER I paid him.
