I would describe Texas Land and Cattle (TXLC) much like a Lonestar Steakhouse with a bit more ambiance. Had the Spinach and Artichoke Dip appetizer which was interesting given that they serve it with chips and salsa. Salads came out absolutely drenched in dressing so order yours on the side. The bread was great but entrees failed to impress. The Cabernet sirloin steak lacked seasoning, was overpowered by sauce and was cooked medium when ordered medium-rare. The Salmon steak was a bit better but the aolli is unnecessary. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok.\r

On a good note, the service was excellent. Multiple bubbly waitresses were very attentive and when we mentioned that the salad was drenched and the steak not that great, the manager took it off our check and invited us back again to try again.\r

If you're looking for a variety of choices at an alright value, this is your place but if you want steak you can do much better for a bit more.
Pros: Service
Cons: Average food
