We used Campbell's for a very small move between Ann Arbor and Los Angeles, arranged on less than 24 hours notice. (We attached our shipment to one that was already going...) We were able to do 1/2 payment upon pickup, and the other 1/2 on delivery -- Rodney will do that if you request it. The men who did the pickup in Ann Arbor were more than an hour later than their 4 hour window. On the delivery side, they were more than a day late and hard to get in touch with. (No contact at all until after the delivery was supposed to have occured, the main office in Ypsilanti claimed not to have a way to contact the driver, and when the driver finally did call he claimed not to have a way to contact the main office.) Everything arrived eventually, although most of the boxes were badly damaged (none of the contents -- mostly clothes -- were damaged) and one piece of furniture was slightly damaged. My understanding from the driver (who seemed like an overworked and undercompensated individual) is that Rodney doesn't run the most organized of businesses, and tends to pass any costs from the customers directly on to the drivers -- without taking any responsibility as the owner/contractor. Although it was nice to be able to arrange the move on very short notice, I did finish the deal feeling like I'd been ripped off. Based on the other reviews on this site -- we were lucky just to get our belonings. I'd suggest finding another moving company.
Pros: Flexible enough to arrange a small move on short notice
Cons: Everything else
