Today I had a horrible experience on my 19th wedding anniversary. My husband and I went to Vinny's on Windward. I ordered filet mignon. I received it BURNT! I immediated infromed the waiter to bring me some A1 sauce to over come the burnt taste. She said, ""ok."" Why didn't she offer to bring me another Filet? Another waiter came and gave me the A1 sauce and informed me she had told the manager about the situation. However, still no one ever offered me another filet. Finally the manager came after I finished eating the filet with my A1 sauce and my husband had finished his meal. What poor service. The restaurant was not even busy. There were only a few people in the restaurant. Finally, he came over and says, ""can I get you something else, oh I guess not you are finished."" Of course, it only took him 30 minutes to come check things out. I said, ""no thanks."" He went on to make excuses of why the filet was burnt. I told him I always order everything well done and I have never left a restaurant with a burnt taste in my mouth. My husband ordered well done and his was not burnt. He continued with the excuses, but I told him not to worry about it. I kind of got tired of debating with him. Everyone makes mistakes and they should have immediately offered to correct the situation. I guess their ratings could be good if you don't have a bad experience. But, if you have a bad experience don't expect good service from Vinny's!!!!!!! Pros: Seated Promptly Cons: Thumbs Down more
