I went to this cafe for the first time today. I ordered a cappacino and they made it. They set it on the counter and tell me how much it is. I go to pay with my credit card. That's when they inform me that their credit card machine is down. I ask if they accept checks. The cashier says no and asks her manager. The answer is still NO and a roll of the manager's eyes. So there I am with no way to pay for my cappacino. In this day and age there are many people who never carry cash. They should have had a sign out to tell people that their machine was broken in the first place. However, since they didn't they should be accomodating to other payment methods such as a check. Cafe' 10 needs to take a lesson in customer appreciation and customer satisfaction. As a coffe affecionado who passes by there every day on my way to work, they lost what would probably have been a regular customer. I will never frequent there again and I will tell my friends not to go their either.
