I can't comment on the motel, as we didn't stay there but the associated Breezeway Restaurant is quite good and popular. The hush puppies were light and moist and the steamed peel and eat shrimp and crab legs were excellent. The side dishes of black beans and rice and slaw were also very good. The grilled grouper--fresh fish of the day that one of us had was OK but a bit dry. Otherwise, a very decent restaurant in Topsail beach with a beautiful view of the sound.
