This small, family owned and operated restaurant is one of the best in Albuquerque. The Chef, affectionately known as Mama Kai (to me, anway) is simply one of the very best Korean chefs anywhere. If you can squeeze in before they close (7:30pm) you will be amazed at the quality of the menu items. She obviously has very high standards, and if you know Korean food at all, then you will recognize hers for what it is: delicious.\r

This restaurant is a little hard to find, on the NW corner of Eubank and Candelaria, in the Scottsdale Shopping Center. I discovered it when we first moved to Albuquerque, way back in 1998. It is always a treat to be able to go and eat Mama Kai's food; I just wish she was open later, and more often....\r

(PS Whoever said the Korean BBQ house was better, either owns the Korean BBQ house, is lying, or is drunk. I've been there twice, and the food was not even edible, for the most part.)
