The beef producers set up the certified angus beef qualifications to ensure that the beef would be certified for quality and taste. CAB is the top 6.5% of all beef produced in the US... higher than govt standards, not less. Do you trust the govt to tell you about meat quality or the producers who take pride in thier product?
