When we arrived, no hostess was at the desk. The line was out of the door. As a harried waitress came over to seat us, the hostess finally arrived. We were seated told our waiter would be over soon. The waitress who seated us got us water. Another person gave us bread and a third person opened our wine. Each told us our waiter would be over soon. He showed up after the meal was finished to try to sell us on dessert. No one came over to us during dinner to ask if the meal was okay. We started off with the cheese plate. Three very nice cheeses were served with quince jelly, nice crostini and fruit. They should have left off the strawberries as they were not fresh. We ordered the Summer Seafood Melange. It had no taste to it, which was very disappointing. It was like poached seafood in a broth that had less taste than canned boullion. We also had the pork tenderloin, which was to be served with mashed potatoes. We received pasta instead - we were not told of this substitution when we ordered. The pork had a very nice flavor to it and it was well prepared. The portions were adequate to small, pricing was not a bargain given the food we were served. We were very disappointed with the blandness of the food and the fact that our server didn't think that it was important to check in on us. The folks who did help us were very nice and knowlegable. However they had other tables to serve. We ate on the back patio, which was quite lovely. We will not go back given the food quality and the lack of attention from our designated server.
Pros: Beautiful outdoor dining area
Cons: Food was bland, service not good
