I received a gift card for $50.00 from my sister on my birthday (Nov.) I saved it for my husband & I to use for Valentine's Day. The food was okay but certainly not worth $173.13. With tip it came to over $200.00. I gave them the gift card and the waiter came back saying it was declined. I said that it couldn't be, I'd never used it till today. But he said ""sorry"". So we paid the check anyway. When I got home, I called the number on the card and put in my number. I t stated that it had been used on 2/14/07, it was purchased on 11/13/06. I called Roy's and talked with the manager there and told him what I experienced. I gave him the number to call & the number on my card to verify what I learned. He called back and said that he was sorry, he didn't know what happened and was going to mail me a giftcard for $75.00. I never received the card. I think that the manager and the waiter must have some scam going. They each made $25.00 off of me. I will never go there again. I also think that the gift cards arn't worth it. Don't buy them. They somehow screwed it up to were you can't even use them.
