Having enjoyed the Austin Hwy venue, I decided to take my father and the family to brunch at the new 1604 Silo location -- BIG mistake. Food was just as terrific as the Austin Hwy location, when we could get a hold of the waiter to get any! Literally, it was 30 minutes from getting the menu to ordering. We were never once asked to have drinks refilled -- had to get up, find the waiter, and ask for bread. I emailed the owner, who apologized, and offered to send me a coupon to retry. That was nice, but never heard from him again, despite re-emailing and calling. Basta! Enough of Silo -- don't recommend spending the $$ there. That was a $250 brunch for 5!
