I've been coming to Scopello for about two years. The food is always the best quality and their eggplant rolls and their filet mignon carpaccio are among my favorite antipasti in the whole of New York. Their pasta is consistently good and they have a wine list to satisfy even the pickiest connoisseurs palate. Another good thing is they give you a meal for your money. I'm a big guy so I like my plate full and at Scopello that is what you get. The hype about the celebrities is true too. I was at BAM for Sundance a couple of weeks ago and sat close to Steve Buscemi who was enjoying dinner there with a group of friends. If you are looking for one of the best places to eat in Brooklyn, Scopello is it.
Pros: great Italian food, good music and service
Cons: parking
