While I agree with a previous reviewer that the hotel is lovely in appearance, I am sad to say I cannot agree that the staff was friendly. My new husband and I recently checked in for an overnight stay to recoup from the wedding craziness. We were treated to an 11:00 p.m. phone call from the front desk because their desk clerk made an error in our check-in process. I would like to say that at that hour the staff was apologetic, kind, hospitable, and accommodating. OH NO. We were subjected to belligerence, rudeness, elitism and the desk manager telling my new husband that ""we do not rent by the hour"". I only wish that Mr. Conrad Hilton could have been available to guide that poor lad and remind him of the company's credo ""It has been, and continues to be our responsibility to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality"".
