PRICEY NEIGHBORHOOD SALON 7/14/2007

I went to Stuio Z today to get coloring and a trim. I did not have an apppointment, but I was serviced pretty quickly. I think the lady who did my coloring was Suze, and the color came out OK, but nothing special really. She talked to me for a minute or so, then she just went about doing her job. I did not feel the staff were really that friendly, you would think that they would want to be extra nice to a first time customer. The lady who cut my hair was Nina and I really just want a trim, so I can't tell if she's a good haircutter. I did not like the way she styled my hair. I have Asian fine hair and she styled my hair really straight, which makes my hair look more limpy. The hair blower was also really hot, I felt like my fine hair were getting fried. I told her I rather have more volume, so she used a round brush and fixed it a little. I can't say if the price is worth it for this small salon. I got a color, gloss and trim and end up paying over $140. I think I would recommed Christie Salon at Bay Terrace for this price. Pros: Parking near by, no wait Cons: Too Pricey for a small salon more
