My fiancee and I recently went to Vermont for a vacation and stayed at the Days Inn- Shelburne, VT. I had called the night before to confirm and the woman who anwsered the phone was rude. She didn't understand why I was calling to confirm and acted like I was bothering her. During our stay our shower broke and we were told nothing was wrong with it. The shower made strange noises and the water would shut off sporatically. On night two of our stay we came back at night to discover our card keys would not let us in our room. We went up to the front desk and the woman asked if it was our last night of our stay. I told her no we were staying tomorrow night also. She again was very rude to us and acted like the keys not working was our fault. She looked our information up in the computer and gave us our keys back after she swiped them. Then she went back to reading her book. The room was clean but needed a lot of updating. I payed a lot of money for our stay and if I didn't prepay through the internet we would have left after the first night. We will never stay at that Days Inn again. It was problem after problem and the staff was nothing but rude to us. It was the worst place I have ever stayed at on vacation.
Pros: it is near downtown Burlington and other entertainment
Cons: the staff was rude, the ""beautiful"" grounds was a bunch of dead grass, and the shower didn't work correctly
