i remember coming here before going to the nearby theater for a show. I didn't know it then, but this place was actually 2 places in one (Koi, the Japanese sushi place, and Chen's Chinese). Although the place had good food and the ambiance was great, it was almost as if something was "fake" about it. Maybe it was the very easy going athmosphere that surrounded the place. They had a VIP lounge area with a fireplace and and leather sofa and the inside was dark with a warm yellow color all around. This is compared to those traditional looking places with bamboo all over and silk screens. The food was good, but nothing to jump up and say it was a winner to. I did, however, like their innovative drink selections, including martinis and hard to find sake. But other than that, I really did not see anything special enough that can justify this place having 2 $$? Come for a date, but not for those everyday sushi cravings.
Pros: martini and sake lineup
Cons: parking, nothing special about the foodthat makes it $$
