We took our Sugar Glider to this doctor because she was VERY sick. My daughter in tears the vet asked us to pay $800 - $900 for xrays and (a word it won't let me write here) work. I informed him I would do it in a heartbeat if I did have it. Then he says I will give her antibiotics and calcium shots ($226 - which was he diagnoses: her calcium was way to low from not getting any direct sunlight) if we PROMISED to follow his instructions exactly with his home treatment plan. Never once did he say "this might not work or we can TRY this". She stopped breathing in my daughters hands 5 hours later. Very distraught I ran her back to the vet (she died in route) where he didn't even come out to console or even try to explain the possibilities of her death to us. I suppose he thought his job was done. When returning home I researched extensively to find that you should NEVER EVER put a Sugar Glider in direct sunlight. This can blind them. I told him that I had never read this anywhere. He treated me as if I was just ill informed and should have researched better. Research is complete, he was wrong and was unbelievably uncaring. I am not naive.. I didn't believe she would make it however he gave undoubtful hope that she would survive to my daughter and myself. If he had just once said I can't know FOR SURE until the I do (a word it won't let me write here) work or take an xray....we would have at the very least gone for a second opinion.
Pros: Clean, nice parking lot
Cons: Makes you feel uneducated, non caring vet
