To some people, La Casita in Mammoth may be nothing to write home about. But, my club (BMW) and I have eaten there more than several times, because their food is good, service is good and reasonably priced. Although the seating may show some wear, the place appears to be clean and the rest rooms are clean! From Tucson it's about 50 miles to Mammoth and La Casita. IMHO, it's worth the drive for some good Mexican food at a modest price.
