I took my husband to uncle Jack's on my trio to New York . Once we stepped in the restaurant, there was that great gentleman in a nice tux, he greated us very nicely and directed us to the reservation desk. The person behind the desk was a POOR representation of the restaurant for the lack of better word,. He treated us with very bad manners, a guy with a strange american accent and no brain. Once we got to our table our captain was the guy who greated us first at the door.. He really changed our impression about Uncle Jack in general. He was a dark and handsom guy, who had a great hospitality experience, a firm attitude, he was also. very educated and well spoken. Captain Riad was a TRUE captain, what a great personality. I am being a bit judgemental because I work for the Biggest name in the hospitality industy and i know how to analyze people who work in the field. Captain Riad gave us the best service and the most education about Kobe beef and the history of uncle Jack. I had the Akaushi and my wife had the Kobe was ok but not great . Thanks to the service that made up for the lousy experience at the front desk.
Pros: Good Sevice, Ok Food
Cons: Loud music, noisy atmosphere, overrated
