Saad's is a neighborhood staple of West Philly and is considered by many to be the best Halal restaurant in the city. I'd have a hard time arguing the point because the food is exceptional, the service is top notch, and the prices are cheap. I haven't sampled the widest variety of their menu but the Falafel, Hummos and Baba Ghanouj are all great. The ingredients taste fresh and when the menu boasts ""Saad makes it all from scratch"" it's easy to believe. I also enjoy the selection of imported fruit flavored sodas. They're open late and Saad is always a class act while taking your order. Most of all I have to stress that this is very reasonably priced food, with your average sandwhich around $4. If you're looking for Middle Eastern food and haven't tried Saad's, I strongly recommend paying a visit the next chance you have.
